Supervision is one of the most important parts of your new journey as an LPC Associate. The supervision relationship is based on openness and trust. During the supervision process, we will focus on developing your clinical skills, theoretical knowledge, learn best ethical practices, and develop personally and professionally through self-reflection. I strive to provide a safe and encouraging environment to help you grow and build confidence in your new profession. Together we will explore your therapeutic style in developing and maintaining client relationships, to truly be able to help others.

I am approved by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council to provide supervision to LPC Associates working towards the required 3,000 experience hours. Supervision will be based on the rules established by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council and Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors.

With 14+ years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I bring a diverse background of skills and perspective that include:

  • treating children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family, couples, and group settings

  • experience working with diverse client populations

  • providing crisis counseling services

  • a client-centered, culturally responsive, trauma-focused, and strengths-based approach

  • management and oversight of a counseling program at a non-profit agency, including supervision of therapists and interns

As a clinical supervisor, I will:

  • provide direct supervision consisting of a minimum of four hours per month.

  • offer group supervision when feasible.

  • give feedback and guidance on counseling techniques, application of theories, differential diagnosis, and ethics.

  • review case notes and other documentation when appropriate.

  • be available for phone consultation if a crisis arises or for time-sensitive situations.

If you believe that we may be a good fit, let’s schedule a meeting to discuss further.
